Among the strongest athletes of Ruschem
More than one and a half thousand professional athletes and running enthusiasts from 55 cities of Russia gathered in Sterlitamak on September 15 to take part in the charity half marathon "Ruschem Run". The organizers of the large-scale sports festival were the chemical holding Ruschem and the Bashkir Soda Company.
"Ruschem Run" continues the best traditions laid down by BSK Race (BSK Zabeg), which was initiated four years ago by the head of the holding, Eduard Davydov.
The sports festival brought together more than 400 chemists of the Ruschem group of companies from the Perm Region, the Moscow and Volgograd regions, the Republic of Bashkortostan, Moscow and enterprises in the south of the country. Employees of Metafrax Chemicals, led by Managing Director of Production Albert Khudaibirdin and the company Metadynea, took part in the race.
Participants, depending on their training, were asked to cover one of four distances of 2, 5, 10 and 21.1 km.
The athletes of Metafrax showed excellent results at distances of 10 and 21 km and entered the top six of the strongest athletes in the absolute standings among the employees of the Ruschem holding. At a distance of 21 km, a production master for the maintenance and repair of equipment in technological workshops (POROTS) Alexander Pigilev became the absolute winner, POROTS NDT specialist Rashid Bekmansurov took a worthy fourth place at this distance. Evgenia Kryukova, a leading engineer of the Environmental Protection Department, became the absolute winner in the 10 km distance, and Natalia Fedorova, Head of the Bureau of Standardization and Certification, became the fourth. Among men at a distance of 10 km, Sergey Deder, a methanol production operator, took second place, his production colleague Vladimir Fionin became the third, Deputy Head of the Production of Polyorganics and Polyatomic Alcohols Alexey Nogovitsyn was the fourth among Ruschem employees. The results between the athletes were very tight, the difference at the finish was only a few seconds. According to the results of the race, warehouse manager Nikita Zelenkin was noted among the participants from Metadynea.
The children of our employees also showed good results in the race. At a distance of 5 km in the age group of 12-13 years, Victoria Vinogradova became the silver medalist, and Polina Fedorova - the bronze.
The development of sports, the formation of a healthy lifestyle culture are issues to which special attention is paid at Ruschem. One of the priorities of the holding's social policy is the development of corporate sports. A large part of the charity program of Ruschem is also the holding of large-scale urban and regional half marathons, sports festivals and competitions.
