Contribution to social development
The "Metadynea" company, which is a part of "Metafrax Group", traditionally pays great attention to the interests of people – employees of the enterprise, their families and friends as well as residents of the cities, where its production sites are located. Thus, in 2022, "Metadynea" LLC took part in more than ten charity events and projects.
Charity ESG initiatives of “Metadynea” have already become a tradition. Over the years, the company has developed stable and warm relations with a number of socially significant organizations and projects.
In early 2022, there was a fire in house 34 of Lenina Street in Orekhovo-Zuyevo (Moscow region), where one of the two production sites of the company is located. "Metadynea" took part in providing assistance to the victims; basic necessities were purchased for the accomodation of people in a new place of residence.
Throughout the year, assistance was provided to the local branch of the All-Russian Society of the Blind, Gymnasium № 14, the Culture House at Pushkin Square, the Homeless Animals Aid Society "Let's be Kinder". On the Children's Day, the annual event titled "Yay, ice cream!" was held for the pupils of the Center for Family and Child Development "Solnechniy" for special children.
This year, the company's employees initiated a new event – the charity fair "Do good with your own hands", where employees provided products of their handiwork and creativity as goods. In total, two similar events were held in 2022 – in summer and in winter. Using the collected funds, based on the results of the first summer fair, a holiday was organized for children with cerebral palsy who are undergoing treatment and rehabilitation in the city hospital of Orekhovo-Zuyevo city district. The winter fair helped raise funds to assist in rehabilitation of Bogdan Kazakov, who is struggling with the consequences of spinal cord injury. During the winter pre-New Year's fair, the employees of "Metadynea" LLC were also joined by colleagues from "Karbolit", which is a part of "Metafrax Group".
One of the largest and most extensive projects was the "Metadynea" New Year's charity campaign. This year, New Year's greetings and gifts from the company were received by the pupils of the "Solnechniy" Center, children from large and low–income families of the city. Gifts were also given to the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Mother of God in the city of Orekhovo-Zuyevo and the Orekhovo-Zuyevo Educational and Production Enterprise of the All-Russian Society of the Blind (EPE ARSB).
Participation in the New Year's campaign was also organized in Gubakha (Perm region), where one of the production sites of "Metadynea" is located. Packages of sweets and gifts were given to 160 pupils of the city's special comprehensive boarding school - for challenged children, disabled children and children from large and low–income families. In addition, throughout the year, "Metadynea" contributed to the construction of a playground on Gagarin Street in Ugleuralskiy settlement (Perm region) as part of the project titled "Childhood Island".
