A delegation from the Metadynea company took part in the II Congress of Occupational Safety and Health Specialists in Moscow. Representatives of the professional community, authorities and business have discussed changes in legislation, current estimate of occupational risks and actual trends in safety culture at enterprises.

During the business program at the congress, leading experts from relevant authorities and enterprises spoke. The main topics of discussion were legislative regulation and changes in regulations in the field of labor protection, and also there were touched the issues of control and supervision, provision of workers with personal protective equipment (PPE), assessment of occupational risks and safety culture to reduce injuries.

- All enterprises are interested in new solution algorithms for a labor protection specialist, which were discussed at the congress. We believe that the exchange of experience and discussion of the most pressing issues in the field of labor protection are useful, regardless of the field of activity,” noted Denis Gerasimov, head of the department for labor protection and industrial safety of Metadynea LLC. – Among the topics raised, we can note the transition to unified standard standards for issuing PPE, as well as the experience of introducing digitalization of the processes for analyzing industrial safety risks, advantages and further vectors for improving these areas.

In addition to the working sessions, the congress site hosted an exhibition of new technologies in the field of labor protection, training in safe work methods, organizing medical examinations, assessing occupational risks, and personal protective equipment.
