The "Metadynea" site in Orekhovo-Zuyevo was visited by the head of the urban district

Igor Spassky, General Director of "Metadynea" LLC, presented the company's strategy in the field of production of environmentally friendly chemical products as well as high-quality upgrades in the infrastructure of the production site to Ruslan Zagolovatsky, the head of the Orekhovo-Zuyevo district.

The work trip to the enterprise took place on January 19 during new head's review of the enterprises of the district. Igor Spassky told Ruslan Zagolovatsky about the development strategy of "Metafrax Group" and "Metadynea" and shared the plans for the implementation of investment projects.

It is planned to create a production of BIO-propylene glycol (BIO-MPG) and glycerin, which would be unique for Russia, within the Orekhovo-Zuyevo site. The start of this project was given in December of 2021, when a license agreement and a contract were signed for the basic engineering of a production complex of low-tonnage chemical products with Air Liquide Engineering and Construction.

- The project is part of the implementation of the company's mission, which accounts for the priority of environmental protection issues. We foresee the fabrication of a product entirely from biodegradable raw materials, renewable sources of plant origin. The BIO-MPG synthesis process used in the project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 60% compared to the classic production process, - noted Igor Spassky.

The total investments of "Metafrax Group" in the project may amount to more than 5 billion rubles, which will create up to 100 new jobs at the enterprise in Orekhovo-Zuyevo. The engineering of the complex is planned to be completed in 2022, and "Metadynea" LLC is intended to launch the production at the end of 2024.

A separate part of the meeting was dedicated to the development of the site infrastructure and the impact of this work on improvement of the situation on the roads adjacent to the enterprise. The head of the company presented the head of the district with a new intra-factory road with an area for temporary placement of freight transport. Due to the construction of this facility, the transport load on Sovkhoznaya street has decreased, the infrastructure of the industrial site has improved qualitatively, the share of the use of urban areas for temporary placement of freight transport has decreased.
